System design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance of IT systems and projects

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To carry out quality control, quality assurance, and project management duties for all IT projects and systems under Geodetic Survey Section;
• To supervise, monitor and take part in all phases of IT projects and systems under Geodetic Survey Section including feasibility study, systems analysis and design, procurement and installation of computer systems, programming, system testing, implementation, user acceptance, system nursing and maintenance, and coordinate with the consultants or contractors
• To identify IT procurement needs, prepare procurement documents, implement various IT contracts and optimize IT resources;
• To establish and oversee IT management framework; 
• To devise system and installation standards as well as to devise and maintain operating procedures in line with these standards. To scrutinize project reports and specifications to ensure IT systems are adhere 
• To perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• At least 8 year experience in IT industry and at least 4 years of relevant experience
• At least 8 years of working experience in the role of network administrator who is supporting IT network (LAN & WAN) for over 2,000 users;
• Solid working and hands-on technical experiences including the deployment and administration of Network & Firewall Products including Cisco Catalyst Core Switches & Routers (e.g. C9600 and C9400 series switches, ISR & ASR series routers), Firewall and Proxy appliances (e.g. Fortigate, Checkpoint); Network
• Monitoring & Authenticating Products (e.g. SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, FortiAnalyzer and Cisco ISE), Server & Application Products (including IIS, VMware, Hyper-V, Veeam, TrendMicro, SafeNet, Splunk, Syslog);
• Solid knowledge in Network Standards & Protocols including but not limited to LAN / WAN, Metro-Ethernet, DWDM, VLAN, VXLAN, Spanning-Tree, IPSEC Tunnels, OSPF, BGP, RIP.
• Working experience of at least 1 project for network design and implementation of Metro-Ethernet infrastructure for connection of offices;
• Working experiences of at least 1 project for the setup of network infrastructure for new office setup
