Project initiation, implementation and on-going support of IT projects proposed in the Departmental IT Plan 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• Carry out quality control and quality assurance, and project management duties as designated by supervisors;
• Monitor all phases of computer projects;
• Analyse, design and specify program components of computer systems;
• Provide support and advice to various system upgrades, prepare and conduct system testing and user acceptance test;
• Liaise with parties concerned (including users, vendors, and computer operators) for implementation and on-going activities support;
• Perform vendor management;
• Manage outsourcing services including quality assurance of deliverables, service acceptance;
• Review the technical architecture proposed by vendors and conducting technical study on new technologies;
• Provide technical advice to management, user or community as appropriate;
• Perform evaluation and research of new hardware, software and technologies;
• Provide problem resolution for system failure that may happen outside normal office hours; and
• Oversee the initiation, implementation and maintenance support of other IT projects proposed in the Departmental IT Plan.
  
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• At least 7 year experience in IT industry and at least 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience in software development life cycle;
• Experience in Java and PHP technology;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server; 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; and
• Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese (essentially Cantonese) and English.
