To provide programming support to the Mapping system and GIS projects enhancement and maintenance of Mapping Section. 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings: 

• To liaise with users for collecting, examining and analyzing user and system requirements
• To provide programming support in coding, development, maintenance and system integration of Mapping systems;
• To develop and arrange housekeeping tasks for security control, system update, data backup of the Mapping System and other IT Systems;
• To prepare and compile documentation; and
• To perform other duties assigned by the supervisor related to application development and GIS support.
• To support programming development for upcoming 3GIS project and the provision of mapping services for B/Ds
• To develop tools for data enrichment; 
• To Support generalization models development, workflow design, map template migration and generalized result interfacing
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science, equivalent or above;
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity
• Familiar in Geospatial and GIS (GIS Geo-processing tools, Workflow and arcpy)
• experience in Working experience within a windows
  environment and familiar with window scripts is preferred; and
• At least 1 year practical experience in Python     
  (e)preferably have at least 1 year experience working with two of 
  the followings: 
• Web applications, learning new web technologies (HTML. XML) and using modern tools (Jira, GitHub, AWS, etc.).
• Basic Knowledge in Database especially Oracle and PostgreSQL and Database Enquiry e.g. Sql statement.
• Familiar with Windows, VMs system administration.
