To provide programming and technical support for the replacement DAWS project

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings: 

• Design and implement the format and structure for the weather data required by the new DAWS with voice recognition capabilities;
• Develop the data transmission to feed the real-time weather data from other internal systems to the new DAWS;
• liaise with the contractor for the software installation and infrastructure set up preparation;
• Develop test plans for functionality and reliability test;
• Assist in security risk assessment and audit and privacy impact assessment
   
  
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science, equivalent or above;
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity 
• Proficient in web programming using HTML5, JavaScript, Restful API, Node.js and MySQL;
• Proficient in web application development;
• Proficient in using JSON, XML and GeoJSON;
• Experience in application programming interface;
• Experience in version control tools such as Gitlab or GitHub; and
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• A criminal record check will be required, and the offer is subject to the criminal record check results.
