• Batch job monitoring

Testing and Optimisation of the new High Performance Computer (HPC-A2) System 
 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings: 

• Port, test, and benchmark numerical prediction models on the new HPC-A2 system to ensure operational stability and performance.
• Analyse and optimise scientific codes, job scheduling scripts, and parallel processing workflows to maximise computational efficiency on the new hardware architecture.
• Develop and enhance data management and post-processing workflows on HPC-A2 and ensure smooth data exchange with existing systems.
• Collaborate with scientific staff to diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during the system integration and testing phases.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations and optimisation procedures.
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science, equivalent or above;
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in similar capacity 
• Experience in system monitoring and administration of computer clusters.
• Proficiency in batch job running, job scheduling and resource management in computer clusters.
• Experience in server facilities establishment and management.
• Proficiency in database programming and software development cycle including design, programming, and testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages including but not limited to Python, JavaScript, PHP, SQL/MySQL.
